Tangled Oaks Vineyard

Tangled Oaks Vineyard and Winery was the idea of Dave and Ricky DaCasto that developed over several years of research and planning.

Dave, like his grandfather in America and many of his family in the Piedmont Region of Italy, made wine for personal use for many years. During 2003, while visiting family in Italy at the town of Calosso d’Asti, it became apparent how much the family heritage is tied to the grape and wine making. After returning home, Tangled Oaks Vineyard started to exist, as a concept, and later as an actual winery.

Today, the winery and gift shop is operated by David Sr. who manages most business functions, and David Jr., who oversees most winery operations.
